The Ford oval trademark is one of the best-known corporate symbols in the world and has been in regular use for more than 50 years. The script trademark dates back to the very beginning of the company when Henry Ford’s engineering assistant developed a stylised version of the words “Ford Motor Company”.

This last logo is the blue oval that Ford released in 2003 in honor of the 100 years Ford Motor Company had been around. It was named the "Centennial Blue Oval".

Can\'t you change the blue. The blue looks terrible on a green or red
truck. I want to buy a red truck but am holding back because of the ugly blue.
How about a black background?

I Agree With Marilyn You Should Use Black

Yes, I completey agree, it makes even the nicest of their cars look bit clashy
and generic with this cheapy stately blue. I ould opt for it to be
chrome/silver/gray or black. Reserve the blue for the stationary or ads if you
must!

The whole logo is ugly and dated. It makes a modern car look old right away. I
hate the font. They should have a geometric symbol for a logo, like VW, or
Toyota, etc.
