Welcome to the website on Transpersonal Psychology. This website is a representation of my life's work to help people on their journey to emotional expansion, intellectual development, physical health, and spiritual growth.
As a therapist, I hold a transpersonal viewpoint - the body, mind, and spirit work together toward creating wholeness. My interest in the body-mind-soul connection has seen me take up various related activities over the past two decades such as Yoga, Meditation, Physical Fitness and alternative healing processes like Reiki and Pranic healing.
I am a qualified Marriage and Family therapist from California, USA and hold degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Mumbai, India. I have over the years also worked in the capacity of a physical instructor, social worker and mentor in the special education field related to mentally challenged adults and children. All these skills have endowed me to take a very compassionate and holistic approach when counseling my clients in any relationship. I like to work with individuals, couples, and children in a client-centered approach, encouraging the client's involvement in the pace and direction of his or her journey.
Therapy is about recognizing and honoring your essential self: listening to the soul's unique call and aligning your life with it. Healing and growth come through the ancient axiom "know thyself." This means to befriend all aspects of ourselves, both loved and disowned. When we can accept and love ourselves, we open up to compassion for others.
