NATIONAL CULTURE FUND

The NCF endeavours to: Preserve and promote our precious tangible and Intangible heritage in partnership with the community.

In view of the increasing concern of the community to preserve and promote our heritage and to enable them to participate and contribute to its promotion, it was considered necessary to set up an organization which would facilitate and support institutions and individuals in this endeavour.

The multi factor and diverse Indian Cultural heritage both tangible and intangible requires to survive, grow and evolve and to be conserved.

The NCF symbolizes a significant initiative for public and private fund partnership in the domain of culture.  The basic aim and objective of NCF is to mobilize extra budgetary resources from government, non-government agencies, private institutions and individuals for the purpose of restoration, conservation, protection and development of the rich cultural and natural heritage of India.  Thus, it is working in tandem with the Corporate and Public sector units, International Trusts and sites and monuments that have either lost their relevance or are facing extinction.
